A European Blue School is part of a growing network of schools across Europe that integrate the ocean into everyday learning. Recognised by the EU4Ocean Coalition, these schools connect students with the sea — not just through facts, but through curiosity, creativity, and action.

By carrying out a marine-themed project and engaging with their local community, students and teachers become part of a movement that strengthens ocean literacy and promotes sustainable thinking from an early age.

Becoming a European Blue School means thinking beyond the classroom — and learning how to protect our blue planet together.
