Inspired by the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030), the Agenda 2030 and the European Union’s commitment to a greener, more sustainable future, EU4Blue connects education, environmental awareness and international cooperation.

What makes EU4Blue special is its approach: educational resources created in schools, for schools.

Developed by teachers and students from Finland , Germany and Norway, our materials reflect real classroom experiences, different learning needs and diverse perspectives. Combining scientific knowledge with practical activities, they make ocean literacy accessible, engaging and relevant to everyday life.

Through hands-on learning resources, creative activities and ready-to-use teaching materials, we aim to inspire young people to think critically, act responsibly and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Our resources are designed to be adaptable to different language proficiency levels and learning environments, supporting inclusive education across Europe.

We warmly invite other schools and educational institutions to join our journey, explore our resources and share their experiences with us.
